Rule No. 1: Use only specialized cosmetics. Regular shampoos from the supermarket damage synthetic fibers and dry out natural wig hair. Use Ellen Wille Hair Care lines specifically designed for this purpose.

Rule No. 2: No hot water. Use only cool or lukewarm water for washing. Hot water can irreversibly damage synthetic fibers and destroy their shape.

Rule No. 3: Do not brush wet hair. This especially applies to synthetics – wet fibers are elastic, and brushing them will stretch the strands and make the wig lose its appearance. Let it air dry on a special stand (Wig Saver).

Rule No. 4: Start from the ends. Whether brushing daily or before washing, detangle knots with a wide-tooth comb, moving from the bottom of the hair upwards.
